The chief secretary of the fifth round of the Noor School Student Competition announced:
The work submission of the fifth round of the Noor School Student Competition has been extended until August 16th.
Extension of receiving works for the fifth round of the Noor School Student Competition
Hazem Faripour, the chief secretary of the fifth round of the Noor School Student Competition, announced at the first press conference of this competition, held on July 2nd at Andisheh Varzan hall, Tehran, that due to the reception among students and the request of teachers and school officials we will continue receiving works until August 16th on the website of Noor School Student Competition.
The fifth round of the Noor School Student Competition has two categories. a general category called "vision and visual illusion" and a special category for "creating models for mathematical concepts." The top 100 works of the general category and the top three works of the special category will be awarded exquisite gifts. Research institutes and schools with the best participation will also be honored.
In the last four rounds, more than 16 thousand students from 11 countries, including Iran, Morocco, Algeria, Malaysia, India, Turkey, Iraq, Tanzania, Tunisia, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, have participated in this competition. In this round, we already received 777 works from 28 provinces of the country at the secretariat of the competition.
The Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology, National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents, Iran's National Elites Foundation, Pardis Technology Park, Cognitive Sciences & Technologies Council, Iranian Science Promotion Association, The Union of Educational and Scientific Associations of Iranian Physics Teachers, Sama Organization of Iran, Multiple scientific centers and research institutes, Eco Scientific Foundation, UNICEF and Organization of Islamic Cooperation Standing Committee for Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH) are those who have supported us in this round of the competition.
Interested students can participate in this competition in groups of 2 or 3, formed by students or with their family members' participation, and send their works to the secretariat of the competition through www.noor.mstfdn.org by August 16th.
